It’s easy to dismiss the likes of Twitter and Facebook – but when one Friday lunchtime round-robin enables hundreds of people to deliver their verdict on another cynical Daily Mail website poll, then they can’t all be that bad, can they?

  2. Yes, if you block cookies for dailymail.co.uk in your browser you can repeatedly vote up/down comments so long as the page is updated. Hence the trick is to click on ‘best rated’/vote, newest/vote, oldest/vote and so on for a few minutes. I have a feeling this is how the BNP oiks or American gun nuts can skew every comments section….
