All quiet on the south-eastern front

A time-lapse video shot over Tottenham in the early hours of Sunday. Thankfully, despite trouble in Brixton last night, and rumours of problems in Lewisham, south-east London was calm. Over the next few nights, though, I think we’ll all be worrying if we hear a rush of police sirens. I passed through Woolwich last night, and it seemed the same as ever. Kids hanging around, kids on bikes, one even said hello. The rudeness!

Damn these kids and their social networks. Hopefully things will stay quiet…

UPDATE 3:15PM According to Harringay Online, Haringey Council is accepting donations of clothes, bedding and toys for families made homeless in Tottenham at Apex House, 820 Seven Sisters Road N15.
